Terms of use

Retreeve is a directory of local businesses in Northern Arizona. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Listings are compiled from public data and from businesses’ own websites. Businesses move, close, and change their hours and phone numbers, and our information can be incomplete or out of date. Confirm anything that matters — opening hours, services, licensing, prices — with the business directly before relying on it.

A listing is not an endorsement. We do not vet, recommend or guarantee any business, and we are not a party to anything you arrange with one.

Search uses an AI model to interpret your question. It can misread what you asked. Results come from our listings, and the same caution applies to them as to any other listing.

If a listing is about your business and is wrong, or you want it removed, tell us through the contact form.

You may claim a listing only for a business you own or are authorised to manage. We may ask for evidence, and we may decline, reverse or remove a claim — for example where ownership is disputed or was misrepresented.

You are responsible for what you put on a listing you manage. It must be accurate, must describe that business, and must not be misleading, unlawful or infringe anyone else’s rights. We may edit or remove content that breaks these terms. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Featured is a paid subscription for a listing you have claimed. It places the listing ahead of free listings in its categories and in search results, marked as Featured, and adds more detailed metrics. It does not guarantee any number of views, calls or customers.

Featured costs $250 per year, billed in advance through Stripe, and renews each year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; the listing stays Featured until the end of the year already paid for and is not charged again. We do not give refunds for part of a year, except where the law requires it. If a renewal payment fails, Featured placement is paused until it is paid.

We may change the price for future renewals, and will tell you by email before a renewal at a new price.

Please do not:

• scrape, bulk-download or republish the directory by automated means;
• use listings to send unsolicited marketing;
• send automated or bulk requests to search or the contact form, or try to get around the limits on them;
• interfere with the site or attempt to access parts of it that are not public.

We may limit or block access that does any of these.

Much of the underlying listing data is openly licensed and remains available from its original sources under their own licences, which are set out on the data sources page. The Retreeve name, design and site are ours.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, Retreeve is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on a listing, or from your dealings with a listed business.

We may update these terms as the site grows. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. Questions go through the contact form.
